SpiroScout SP plus
SpiroScout SP plus ultrasonic spirometry sensor for use with SCHILLER electrocardiographs.
High-precision spirometry thanks to direct flow measurement
The sensor is insensitive to humidity, atmospheric pressure, and contamination.
The sensor does not require maintenance.
Used with ScoutTube breathing tubes, hygienic disposable mouthpiece
Connection to an electrocardiograph via a USB port
Simple and quick replacement of the ScoutTube disposable breathing tube
High resolution – 1000 measurement points per second – ensures high measurement accuracy
No fluctuation in measurement values due to changes in environmental conditions or humidity of exhaled air
No calibration required during operation
No measurement errors due to incorrectly calibrated or uncalibrated pneumatic tachometer
The SpiroScout SP Plus sensor increases the efficiency of your equipment by adding spirometry capabilities to your existing SCHILLER electrocardiographs.
You will enjoy all the benefits of a full-featured electrocardiograph and spirometer with convenient data management functionality.
SpiroScout SP plus is an ultrasonic flow sensor for measuring inspiratory and expiratory flows.
The sensor design does not include moving parts or replaceable filters, nor does it require calibration accessories.
Ultrasonic spirometry is a rapid measurement method for direct and accurate flow determination.
This flow measurement method, based on the transit time of an ultrasonic pulse (TrueFlow), uses high resolution – approximately 1,000 measurement points per second – and therefore does not require any auxiliary flow assessment parameters (e.g., differential pressure, temperature, etc.).
